Hina is a beautiful young girl. She was at a construction camp and was being threatened by people and attacked by other dogs. She had a wound on her leg that became infected. She is now healthy, spayed and fully vaccination and she needs a home. We think she is about 6 months old and is a medium sized dog. If you are looking for a young dog you could not find a much cuter one.

We want to thank Dr. Kwanchai at the Pattaya Animal Hospital who gave her an antibiotic injection and provided antibiotics for us to treat her at home. All for free.

A female had 9 puppies in a jungle area near us. We have been feeding the mother and puppies until a week ago when the mother was found drowned in a pond. We have now taken the puppies into the shelter and are caring for them. One has been adopted so far. They are a little less than 2 months old. Very unusual, but they are all male. We are trying hard to find them all a home.

This lady has been on our feeding route for a while. Last night we found her with this terrible wound to her hind leg. This looks to us like it could have been from a human attack, but can prove that. She has gone to the vet and had the leg sewed up but it is unclear whether she will have use of the leg when she heals. She is now at the shelter and to add to the situation she is now on heat. Please help us with the medical bills.

Every day at the shelter is spent trying to give the dogs a good life, which means doing many different things. Medical care for Milo, who can't use his hind legs. Trying to teach Gigi to walk again. Attention to Dada who is Milo and Gigi's mother and is blind. Treating Cookie's eye infection. Preparing food (and of course Fred guarding the food) and feeding 160+ dogs twice a day at the shelters and more on the street. This is all a lot of work and we cannot afford to pay for additional staff. If you are in the Pattaya area and would like to help out we really need volunteers. Coming for a few hours, even once a week, would be a huge help.

This young lady was taken out of a local tapioca field and spayed. People nearby said she has had one litter of puppies but they all died. She is quite small for a street dog and has settled right in at the shelter. She is very friendly and gets along well with the other dogs. We would love to find her a home. She is not much more than a year old from what we can tell.

These two dogs have been abandoned in an empty house with no one to care for them. We are feeding them but they both suffer from TVT. The cost of treatment will be about Baht 5,000, which we do not have. We cannot bring them into the shelter until they have been treated as we have no available isolation areas. Please help if you can. You can get the donation information at http://hopeforstrays.org/dog-rescue-donations/

The construction work on the additional kennel areas and the rain covering in front of the office is complete. We want to give a big thank you to Pat Lee of the Green Living Group for donating Baht 15,000 towards this work. The total cost came to Baht 42,000. We would really appreciate additional donations as we are running out of funds to provide the necessary services for the dogs due to the cost of the construction.

Today we had a visit from a group from KFC from countries from Russia, Eastern Europe down to Cyprus. They brought dog food, shampoo and rice. It always makes us happy to have visitors who are interested in what we are doing and they certainly enjoyed playing with the puppies. They were brought to us by the friendly folks at Anex Tour. Thank you all so much.
